Cycle Clubs and Groups in the Bay of Plenty area:
There are now numerous cycling groups all over the Bay of Plenty, here is a list of some of the more established ones.  The Sport BOP website also has a list, visit Sport BOP, then click on the cycling icon.

Sunday Cyclists – Since 2007, for recreational road cyclists. Beginners to experienced. Ride in rural areas, then enjoy a coffee. Start locations can vary but mostly the rides start from out the Paengaroa Hall at 8.30am Sundays.  more info (including ride programme).

For those keen to explore Tauranga on bike, meet other cyclists and have fun. Suitable for those who have a mountain, commuter or trail bike. Four levels from fast to leisurely.

We have listed this group here as Matamata offers some of the best cycling rides close to the Bay. Matamata Peddlers  is a group of cyclists varying in ages and ability who enjoy cycling in good company for leisure, pleasure and for the challenge.
